Jeff D. Peterson is a sociologist, and a professor wine studies. After growing up in Latin America, he has traveled extensively to Latin American and Spanish wine regions, as well grape growing areas of France, England, and his home base of Oregon. Through Vinum Docet (Latin for, “wine educates”) his mission is sharing his love of wine in ways that go beyond conventional technical tastings, to help people explore the many ways in which wine (and food) can be experienced.
